Aerotech Park

Overview
Aerotech Park currently comprises approximately 200 hectares. It includes major hangar facilities, maintenance, repair and overhaul operations, and other aviation support facilities with direct airside access for defence suppliers, leading airlines, including Qantas and Virgin Australia, and a range of other aviation industry operators. Aerotech Park is the hub for aircraft maintenance and repair operations, related aviation services and research and development. Over the next 20 years Aerotech Park is intended to become Australia’s leading dedicated aerospace and aviation cluster.
Location
Aerotech Park precinct is located along the eastern side of the main runway, it is ideally located for aviation and related airside activities.
Intended uses
This includes aircraft maintenance and repair operations and associated aviation support industries. For complete list of intended uses refer to section 6.4 Land Use Zones and Related Development in the Brisbane Airport 2009 Master Plan.
