Brisbane Airport Community Tours
Community groups are invited to take a bus tour of Brisbane Airport. These tours focus on the current infrastructure projects taking place at Brisbane Airport, our future expansion plans for the precinct, and general airport operations. Tour groups visit the Acacia Street ‘Plane Spotters’ area, the Domestic Terminal, the International Terminal, Da Vinci precinct and maintenance areas.
Recommended for: Adults
Minimum no. of people: 10
Maximum no. of people: 60 (or as many as your bus will allow)
Time required: Approx. one (1) hour
Availability: Tours can be booked in on any weekday, between the hours of 9am – 5pm (subject to the availability of our tour guide). All tours must be booked in advance.
Cost: Free
Special requirements: Groups must bring their own bus.
Additional information: We are only able to accommodate one bus-load of guests at a time. Guests do not leave the bus during these tours.

High School Tours
Year 11 and 12 students are invited to visit the International Terminal for a terminal tour. While security restrictions prevent us from showing groups through the secure area, your group will be met by a BAC staff member, who will explain how the terminal works, the kinds of careers that are available at Brisbane Airport, and the roles of the various agencies and businesses. This tour is ideal for high school tourism or business students.

Maximum no. of students: 30
Time required: Approx. 45mins
Availability: Tours can be arranged for weekdays, between the hours of 9am – 5pm (subject to the availability of our tour guide). All tours must be booked in advance.
Cost: Free
Additional information: Groups travelling in school buses are requested to please discuss bus parking arrangements with our Community Relations Officer at the time of booking.
We are unable to offer tours for year eight (8), nine (9) and 10 students at this time, however teachers may like to do a self-guided tour of the International Terminal.

Primary School Tours
Brisbane Airport Corporation is currently unable to offer guided tours for primary school students. We do, offer resources for teachers wishing to bring groups of students to Brisbane Airport. You will find a link below to our student ‘passports’. Students visiting the airport on their school bus can visit four locations around the airport and are asked to answer questions at each location.
