A group tour of Brisbane Airport is a great way to learn about the operation of one of Australia’s fastest growing airports. Interesting, informative and fully guided, these tours are great for those interested in the fascinating world of aviation.
Tours are open to everyone including community groups, school and university students, and working professionals from any industry.
Our airport bus tours focus on current infrastructure projects, expansion plans and general airport operations. Tour groups will get a driving tour of the airport precinct, stopping off at the Acacia Street ‘Plane Spotters’ area and if time permits the Kingsford Smith Memorial. From the comfort of the bus, groups will also see the Domestic Terminal, the International Terminal, the freight and logistics area, our education and training facilities and the aircraft maintenance precinct.
Tour details:
- Minimum group size: 10
- Maximum group size: as many as your bus will allow (an extra seat is required for your tour guide)
- Length of tour: Approximately 1 - 1.5 hours
- Cost: Free
- Requirements: Groups must bring their own bus which needs to have a microphone
- Start and end location: Skygate precinct, near DFO
- Recommended for: Ages 12 and up

Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) aims to provide facilities at Brisbane Airport that are not only world-best, but also promote accessibility for all members of the community, including passengers and visitors with disabilities or special needs.
To help remove the stress of travel, BAC offers free monthly tours of both the Domestic and International Terminal to help with the pre-planning and familiarisation of Brisbane Airport.
The tour can be tailored for an individual’s need but will commonly focus on arriving at airport, check in procedures, processing through security, terminal facilities and boarding processes.

- Recommended for: Community members with disabilities or special needs who are planning on travelling through Brisbane Airport
- Minimum Tour Group: 1
- Maximum Tour Group: 12
- Length of Tour: Approximately one (1) hour
- Cost: Free
- Special Requirements: Please bring photo ID for access to security restricted areas (if required)

We welcome school and university groups to book an airport precinct bus tour to get an updated perspective of the future growth of the airport and explore various aspects of the aviation industry.
