Materiality Assessment
The assessment involved close consultation with our '4 Bosses' (Community, Customers, Employees and Shareholders) with 400 participants asked to complete a short survey and 15 interviews. The purpose of the survey was to ask participants to rank and prioritise each of the material topics based on their level of importance to our business. Interviews were also held with 15 stakeholders across our 4 Bosses to gain further insights into the material topics and the preliminary results of the survey.
The result from the survey and interviews show that our most important material topics include Health, Safety and Wellbeing, Security, Cyber Security and Privacy, Environmental Management and Operational Continuity and Resilience. It is important to note that all 16 material topics were rated highly (4 or above out of 5).
The findings of the materiality assessment will be incorporated into our Sustainability and Corporate Strategies and will be reviewed every two years in line with global reporting standards.
