The primary function of Brisbane Airport is to provide facilities for the safe, secure and efficient movement of passengers, freight and aircraft at Brisbane Airport.
Against this background, Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) works closely with commercial organisations and private persons wishing to use the airport for filming and photography activities.
BAC is committed to maintaining safety and security at the airport and may decline the use of the airport to film or photograph for safety, security, or operational reasons.
Applications for Filming and Photography
Any person or organisation wishing to undertake filming or photography at Brisbane Airport must complete the online application form and submit for review by the BNE Media team at least eight (8) business days before the proposed activity. Any requirements and arrangements for access to airside areas must also be confirmed at this time.
In all cases, filming or photography will not be permitted until the following has occurred
- An online application form has been completed, submitted and received by BAC,
- A copy of your public liability insurance certificate (where applicable) has been received AND
- An email confirming that filming has been approved has been received by the applicant from BAC.
Please note: filming requests will not be processed after midday on Fridays, outside business hours, on weekends or public holidays.
Filming applications are currently being assessed on a case-by-case basis due to the transformation of both the International and Domestic Terminals. With various locations hoarded off for building works, and multiple contractors onsite along with high passenger activity, we need to ensure your filming activity fits with the current environment.
