As construction takes off in the central area of the Domestic Terminal, there will be changes to the airport journey for departing Jetstar passengers.
To help you find your way, we've put together this guide of important information you need to know before you arrive at the airport. Rest assured that once you arrive at the Domestic Terminal, there will be clear signage and helpful volunteers to guide you.
- A new and improved temporary Jetstar check-in and bag-drop facility.
- Changes to where Jetstar passengers go through security screening.
- Additional walking journey to boarding gates.
- For passengers arriving from the carpark or Airtrain, at the end of the Skywalk turn left. At the bottom of the escalators you will find the entry to the temporary Jetstar facility.
- For passengers being dropped off by car, use Zone 1 - 3 at the beginning of the Pick-up and Drop-off road and use the nearest crosswalks towards the terminal.
Departing domestic Jetstar passengers will need to check-in and bag-drop at the temporary facility located on the northern (Qantas) side of the terminal, in front of the Qantas entry to the terminal.
Once checked-in, Jetstar passengers will head to the temporary northern security screening located at the northern (Qantas) end of the Domestic Terminal. Entry will be clearly signed in yellow.
For oversized baggage: Once you've checked-in and collected your bag tag, head inside the terminal through the Qantas entry doors, and you'll find the oversize baggage drop near carousel 1 inside the Arrivals Hall.
- Check-in via the Jetstar app or website before arriving and save your digital boarding pass to your phone.
- Online check-in opens 48 hours before your flight and closes 40 minutes before departure.
- Arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before your flight.
