So get those stomachs rumbling, we’ve rounded up our top 10 favourite eats from cafes, restaurants and breweries all located in the Domestic Terminal. Pack your appetite, let your taste buds take off and bon appetit!
1. The Aviary
With interior design that would not look out of place in a James Street or a CBD setting, you’ll be immediately drawn to the soft pastels, warm timbers and brass detailing of The Aviary.
Matching the sense of occasion is their made-fresh-to-order menu and extensive cocktail list, best enjoyed from inside a birdcage-styled booth.
The King George whiting with rustic ratatouille is a standout dish with grilled coastal marine whiting served with summer vegetables, zhoug, chorizo crumb and kataifi pastry.
On a travel day of queues upon queues, it’s a refreshing change of pace to allow the friendly team to take care of you with complete table service.
All that’s left to do is sit back, relax and watch the planes take off from the runway-facing windows.

2. Newstead Brewing Co
As one of Brisbane's original craft breweries, Newstead Brewing Co has earned a reputation for its award-winning independent beers, pub-style food and relaxed atmosphere, and we’re so lucky to have them replicate this for domestic travellers.
Pull up a pew and cheers to your next adventure with a pint or two of airport-exclusive Tailwind Lager, and pair it with a Moreton Bay bug slider with cauliflower bites.
The hero ingredient - the sweet northern Queensland shellfish – is perfectly encased in sriracha mayo in a buttery brioche roll.

3. Graze Grill & Bar
The Graze Grill & Bar pork belly baos are the sort of meal we’d purposely buy a plane ticket for just to have an excuse to eat them again!
Soft fluffy bao buns stuffed with tender sticky pork belly and crisp veggies, these bite-sized treats are perfect as a substantial snack or paired with other plates for a feast to share.

4. The Common
The Common is the newest kid on the dining block at the Domestic Terminal, and it’s making friends fast.
The uber-cool fit-out features terracotta tones and navy accents, soft glow lighting and trendy seating.
On the menu is locally-roasted speciality coffee for early commuters and an all-day menu of light and substantial meals.
Our top pick: Buttery kingfish with smooth and zesty coconut cream. Toasted coconut and seasoned crispy rice paper is the perfect crunch and vessel to enjoy this dish.
The highlight of the common and Chef Erkan's recommendation: The crispy skin pork belly and creamy potato puree on hazelnut chimichurri is the perfect balance of flavours.

5. Bound
Jocelyn’s Provisions is an iconic Brisbane artisan patisserie and their inclusion at Bound means that their cult favourite cakes and pastries are available the next time you fly.
The traditional carrot cake is made using freshly grated carrot and chopped brazil nuts and iced with a cream cheese frosting.
Utterly scrumptious, we highly recommend ordering one for yourself (no sharing this time, travel bud) and pairing with a Bellissimo, award-winning local coffee.

6. The Lord Lamington
A decadent brunch classic, the eggs benny at The Lord Lamington is a winning combination of poached eggs, hollandaise sauce and your choice of field mushrooms, locally sourced bacon or champagne ham stacked on sauteed spinach and Turkish bread.
The Lord Lamington is Brisbane Airport’s largest restaurant at over 400sqm, so whether you’re travelling solo, with the family, or with a huge crew, there are plenty of tables and booths to sit back, dine in and relax.

7. Mica
MICA is redefining the expectation of baked goods in Australian Airports. MICA is the first venue at Brisbane Airport to bake all products daily on site. Our freshly baked products are prepared with the highest quality imported French butter to ensure our consumers enjoy our French-inspired patisserie experience. You will not be able to resist the delicious aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries curated with Shannon Kellam's unmistakable finesse.

8. Coffee Royal
If you’re after the Australian staple of smashed avocado on toast then Coffee Royal is your go-to transit destination.
The classic dish is served using locally sourced products and made fresh to order.
Whether you’re craving a coffee or treating yourself to a cocktail, the team here have you covered.
Their delicious Merlo coffee is a brilliant way to start the day or choose from the largest selection of gins in the terminal. Chin chin!

9. Seeds by Bruno Loubet
Fast, fresh and nourishing are the keys to success for Michelin star chef Bruno Loubet.
Seeds by Bruno Loubet is championing vegetables as heroes, and their salads and breakfast bowls are not only healthy but tasty and easy to eat on the go.
Bruno’s popular pumpkin salad features slow-roasted pumpkin tossed with baby spinach and topped with toasted almonds and feta cheese.
With an option of adding chicken and other proteins, this dish packs a punch without any of the bloat.

10. Nippon Ramen
Nippon Ramen is for holidaymakers who are travelling domestically but want to eat internationally.
The spicy char sui ramen has all the makings of a comfort meal: noodles, steaming broth and succulent slices of pork belly. Level up with some gyozas as a side dish.
