In April 2024, we held a public vote to name an RFDS plane to celebrate Brisbane Airport's 15 years of partnership with Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) (Queensland Section). RFDS aircraft VH-FDS was named Drover after the first purpose-built RFDS
